HUMBOLDT 鈥� In regard to the 2019 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Bantam Draft, the Humboldt Broncos believe good things come in fives. The squad picked five players last Friday at the event in Nipawin.

Another eventful chuckwagon competition at Battlefords Agricultural Society has come to a close. The most recent Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association event took place in North Battleford May 31, June 1 and June 2.

The SJHL bantam draft is done and the picks are in for the Battlefords North Stars. The North Stars made six selections in the draft that took place over six rounds in Nipawin on Friday.

EAST CENTRAL 鈥� The area's local Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has made their picks. According to the league's twitter account, the聽Humboldt Broncos, Melfort Mustangs and Nipawin Hawks selected six players each at a meeting in Nipawin May 31.

HUMBOLDT 鈥� Humboldt鈥檚 four schools saw 44 athletes place in the top three at the Horizon Central Athletic Association District Track Championships. Humboldt Colligate won the second-most amount of points, 906, at the May 28 event. St.

LANIGAN, WATROUS 鈥� Two local athletes broke records at this year鈥檚 Horizon Central Athletic Association District Track Championships In the midget boys鈥� category, Dayton Uchacz of Lanigan broke the record for 100 metre and 200 metre hurdles.

TISDALE 鈥� The Tisdale U12 Magic, U14 Riverdogs and U16 Riverdogs all won silver at the Regina Sharon Knott Memorial Tournament.
