LANIGAN, WATROUS — Two local athletes broke records at this year’s Horizon Central Athletic Association District Track Championships
In the midget boys’ category, Dayton Uchacz of Lanigan broke the record for 100 metre and 200 metre hurdles. His times were 11.69 seconds and 24.12 seconds respectively. Both times were hand-timed.
Jemar Brockman of Watrous Elementary broke a record for triple jump. The peewee boy jumped 10.48 metres.
There will 11 records broken in total at the May 28 event in Humboldt.
