HUMBOLDT 鈥� Every time a Humboldt Collegiate Mohawks football player holds a football at a home game, they鈥檒l be honouring the memory of a fallen comrade.

New Horizons held their golf windup Monday, Sept. 30. Unfortunately, the afternoon golf was cancelled due to inclement weather, however an exceptional supper, put on by Carol and her staff at the Main Course Restaurant, did go ahead.

It took a shootout for the Battlefords North Stars to come through with a 5-4 win over the Melfort Mustangs on the road Wednesday night. It was Rylan Nivon who scored the winning marker in the shoot out frame to lift the North Stars to the victory.

It was a heartbreaker for the North Battleford Comp Vikings against Marion Graham on Oct. 4 at SMF Field in Saskatoon. The Vikings lost 22-21 as a second-half comeback fell short.
