Baby Renn, four months old, and family received prizes of the Baby Contest for Weyburn This Week.

The regular season of hockey has ended for three Rebels teams, that play in Assiniboia.

The 'Fetes Des Voyageurs' was a fun morning winter carnival held at Assiniboia Park Elementary School, Weyburn.

Frankie Hickson, a running back for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, paid a visit to Weyburn on Monday, promoting the value and joys of reading. He first visited the Family Place in the morning, then with a number of classes at Legacy Park Elementary School before finishing the day at the Tim Horton's restaurant.

A cast of over 60 performers had the audience on their feet at the end of the Weyburn production of the classic stage musical, Oklahoma!

The Weyburn Red Wings played an old-fashioned game of road hockey against the clients of the Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop on Thursday afternoon. A cool breeze blew and the sunshine was bright for the game, and everyone warmed up afterward with some hot chocolate.

Pink Shirt Day was marked on March 1 at Legacy Park Elementary School, and was capped with an assembly for the entire school, featuring SaskExpress. The stage musical was a story of an AI robot that could write hit songs, and the girls performed a number of current Top 40 hits as input for the robot.

The Weyburn Lacrosse Association had over 40 children, from three up to 16 come out on Wednesday evening to try out the sport of lacrosse, in a free tryout session at Weyburn's Credit Union Spark Centre. The children were divided up into younger and older age groups, and were given a variety of fun drills to see what it's like to play the sport.

An amazing $8,410 was raised for Telemiracle.

Weyburn families came out to have fun and be active on Family Day at the city's Credit Union Spark Centre and Leisure Centre. Activities ranged from a clay project to painting a square for a community mural, face-painting, meeting a Paw Patrol member or using the climbing wall, along with skating or swimming at the Leisure Centre.
