TISDALE 鈥� The Tisdale Trojans lost their final round robin game at the national Telus Cup against the聽Toronto Young Nationals 4-2. Trenton Curtis of the Trojans scored the April 26 game's first goal eight and a half minutes into the first period.

TISDALE 鈥� The Tisdale Trojans couldn't penetrate the defenses of the聽Cantonniers de Magog in their first game at the national Telus Cup. The April 22 game in Thunder Bay saw the Trojans defeated by the Quebec-based team 6-0.

MELFORT 鈥� The Melfort Mustangs鈥� successful season came to an end in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League finals. Melfort fell to the Battlefords North Stars, 4-1, in the best-of-seven Canalta Cup finals.

The Robyn Silvernagle team out of Twin Rivers Curling Club is hoping to go out with a bang in Saskatoon. They are in the field for the Humpty鈥檚 Champions Cup, the final event of the season for the Pinty鈥檚 Grand Slam of Curling.

Unfortunately a scheduling conflict has forced the SJHL to give up the North Stars鈥� home ice advantage in the Anavet Cup.

When the Tisdale Trojans boarded the bus headed to the Telus Cup in Thunder Bay, ON. last week Yorkton鈥檚 Colby Vranai was them. 鈥淚t鈥檚 been good,鈥� said the 17-year-old left winger of the Trojans run to the national AAA Midget finals tourney.
