You can’t accuse the City of Estevan of considering a lavish project for the funding it will receive from the federal government through the Gas Tax Fund. The city is looking to direct the money towards upgrades at the water tower.

When my mom used to make cookies, my brother, sister and I often helped by putting icing and sprinkles on them.

To the Editor: In 1921 I was born in a little house on 14th street just two streets east of Haig School. It was the only house on the street and the street was the last street on the east end of town.
