Coming into Saturday night鈥檚 contest between the North Stars and the Bombers, Flin Flon had been one of the hottest teams in the SJHL, winning all six of their past games.

The Battlefords Stars hosted the Saskatoon Blazers Saturday for some afternoon hockey at the Civic Centre.

Six days after Meota put ten on the scoreboard against Maymont, they hosted the eighth place Cut Knife Colts at the Civic Centre.

Fresh off of their first win of the season, the Battlefords were at it again. This time on the road against the last place North Stars. An incredible outburst of scoring led the Blues over Glaslyn, 11-2, in Turtleford.

The Mintos and the Stars have gone head-to-head twice this season, serving as solid matchups to watch. For being one of the best teams in the SMAAAHL, the Mintos seem to have trouble putting away the black and white. Thursday was a different story.

Tampa Bay @ St. Louis The Rams come into the Thurday night game with the 21st ranked rushing defence. This bodes well for Doug Martin who's coming off a small workload, suffering from game flow.

The North Stars have had some success against the second place Mustangs this year. Holding a record of 2-0 while scoring nine in a 9-6 victory last time through, it may seem as though the Battlefords have their number in 2015.

The Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame had their annual open house Tuesday.

It鈥檚 hard enough to crack the roster of a Junior A team, let alone excel on one.

This season Daniel McKitrick has turned heads with his ability on the ice for the Humboldt Broncos. His journey to the Broncos and the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League is also impressive.
