The Battlefords North Stars have added two players on loan from the Western Hockey League's Calgary Hitmen in advance of the 2020-21 regular season.

NAICAM 鈥� Naicam will host the Adam Herold Legacy Foundation鈥檚 Hockey and Leadership Development Program this weekend. The foundation was established to honour Adam Herold, the youngest player killed in the Humboldt bus accident.

It looks as if senior hockey could be back playing in the Battlefords in another month. At a Battleford town council Monday, Councillor Kevin Russell was asked about what was happening with the Battlefords Beaver Blues senior team.

TISDALE 鈥� Although the shorthanded Tisdale Trojans fell in their season opener, the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League squad was happy to be back on the ice. The Trojans lost 7-0 to the Saskatoon Blazers on Sunday afternoon.

The Battlefords AAA Stars are finally back in action, as they began their U18 season on the road against one of the new teams in the league, the Warman Wildcats.

The Battlefords Sharks have ended their preseason on a good note, winning 4-1 on the road against Saskatoon Stars in female U18 action. The Sharks exploded for four goals in the second period for the win.

The Battlefords North Stars have finished their preseason and now look forward to beginning the regular season Friday night 鈥� against the same opponent.

HUMBOLDT 鈥� The Humboldt Broncos cannot wait for the puck to drop for what looks to be a promising 2020-21 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League regular season.

EAST CENTRAL 鈥� The schedule has been annocued for the Saskatchewan Hockey League's 2020-21 regular season. All of the teams will play 50 games each.

HUMBOLDT 鈥� Due to his team鈥檚 history and potential, Doug Scott is honoured to be the Humboldt Broncos鈥� newest captain. 鈥淭his team has such a rich history of championship winning teams,鈥� said the 20-year-old defenceman from North Vancouver.
