The Sturgis Composite High School graduates were introduced by Brad Cameron, principal, as they entered the high school gymnasium with their parents during the school’s graduation exercises on May 24. A brief history of their school life was shared.

Arson across region On the evening of May 14 multiple fires were reported to the RCMP where land and buildings were burnt. Arson is suspected in some of these incidents. Please contact the Canora/Sturgis RCMP if you have any related information.

Family, friends and classmates shared in the celebration of 22 Preeceville School graduates on May 17, when awards and scholarships were presented at the graduation exercises at the Preeceville Skating Arena.

It appears agriculture could once again be headed to a time when government policy determines the market for commodities with little consideration given to supply and demand.
