The Saskatchewan Roughriders stunned the Ottawa RedBlacks 30-29 in an exciting game. The Riders won the game on a last-minute 53-yard field goal by Tyler Crapigna.

One of the things this former middle school English language arts (ELA) teacher loves about homeschooling is that now when I am engaging kids in a book, I get to carry that theme from the book through absolutely everything. It’s fantastic.

Many businesses look for a well-designed loyalty program that will keep their customers returning back. But perhaps these loyalty programs should have a farther reach than just the business world.

Just an update on recent pursuits within the Pokemon Go circuit dear diary. I have captured zero Pokemons. I also maintain zero interest in capturing Pokemons or any of Pokey’s friends. I did pick up a weather forecast on a phone app.

Here we are smack dab in the middle of the Saskatchewan Summer Games, so it is too early to spread and share any assessments regarding performances and results or how well managed the events have been, or how poorly some things may have been handled.

This past week I had occasion to spend a couple of days with my best friend in the major trauma section of the emergency ward at our local hospital.
