The Saskatchewan Roughriders stunned the Ottawa RedBlacks 30-29 in an exciting game. The Riders won the game on a last-minute 53-yard field goal by Tyler Crapigna. Receiver Naaman Roosevelt had eight receptions for 182 yards and one touchdown for the Riders. The Riders record is 1-3 and their next game is against the Montreal Alouettes.
Other scores from Week 5 were: the Calgary Stampeders beat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 33-18, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats got past the Edmonton Eskimos 37-31 and the Toronto Argonauts defeated the Alouettes 30-17.
In the Arena Football League, the Arizona Rattlers hammered the Cleveland Gladiators 60-20 in their final game of the regular season. The Rattlers record is 13-3 and they are off to the playoffs.

In Major League Soccer, Toronto FC beat D.C. United 4-1 in a one-sided game. Toronto’s record is 7-7-6 and they are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
Kyle Bush won the latest NASCAR race, the Crown Royal Presents the Combat Wounded Coalition 400 at the Brickyard, finishing ahead of Matt Kenseth. Kevin Harvick started the race in seventh and finished the race in fourth. The next race is the Pennsylvania 400.
In the Western Major Baseball League, the Regina Red Sox hammered the Weyburn Beavers 10-1 in a lopsided game. The Red Sox are in third place in the Eastern Division and have clinched a playoff spot.
The Toronto Blue Jays managed to win only one of three games over the Seattle Mariners on the weekend in Major League Baseball action. The Blue Jays are in third place in the American League East Division.\
