Weekly RCMP Report: June 5-11

The Carlyle RCMP detachment had 46 calls to service between Friday, June 5 and Thursday, June 11. 911 calls RCMP responded to a 911 call from the Carlyle area reporting a fight. Members attended to a call from a Carlyle business regarding a skunk.
RCMP

Ìý Ìý Ìý Ìý Ìý Ìý The Carlyle RCMP detachment had 46 calls to service between Friday, June 5 and Thursday, June 11.

911 calls

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP responded to a 911 call from the Carlyle area reporting a fight.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members attended to a call from a Carlyle business regarding a skunk.

False alarms

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members attended to a false alarm in Redvers, involving a carbon monoxide detector. The alarm went off due to a corroded battery.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP responded to alarms originating from a business in Wawota and a business in Carlyle. Members found both businesses to be secure.

Assault

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Police responded to two separate incidences of assault, both occurring at Kenosee Lake. In one case, a 48-year-old male was charged and in the second case, the parties involved did not want to pursue charges.

Assistance

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Carlyle RCMP assisted the Regina Police Service in locating an individual with outstanding warrants.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP assisted Weyburn Police Service regarding the report of a lost wallet. The wallet was recovered and returned to its owner.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Found indentification was turned into the Carlyle RCMP detachment and the owner was contacted.

Break and enter

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A break and enter in Wordsworth in which a vacuum cleaner was stolen is still under investigation.

Disturbing the peace

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members took four intoxicated individuals to cells, after a report that they were outside a residence in the Carlyle area, causing a disturbance. Three of the individuals were released when sober, but the fourth was held on failure to comply with outstanding warrants, and was brought before a judge.Ìý

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A 23-year-old male was charged with failing to comply with release conditions.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP attended to two separate reports from the Carlyle area of possibly intoxicated individuals driving.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Police attended to a noisy disturbance in Moose Mountain Provincial Park.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A disturbance in the Carlyle area is still under investigation by RCMP.

Drug offences

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý ÌýIn the Carlyle area, RCMP charged a 26-year-old male with possession of a controlled substance.

Fire

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Carlyle RCMP received a report of a grass fire along Hwy 9 near Carlyle. Carlyle Fire and Rescue attended.

Fraud

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A possible case of fraud in Wawota is still under investigation.

Hit and run

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý In Manor, a 52-year-old female was charged with: failure to report an accident, impaired operation of a motor vehicle and impaired operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level over 0.08 after a hit and run.

Mischief

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A report of a broken window in Wawota is still under investigation.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members attended to a residence in the Carlyle area, after the repor of an unwanted guest.

Traffic offences

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members attended to a traffic collision on Hwy 13 near Redvers. No one was injured in the single-vehicle rollover, and the driver was charged with driving at a speed that is greater than reasonably safe. A 19-year-old male was charged $175.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A 22-year-old male from the Carlyle area was charged with failing to report an accidentafterÌý colliding with a culvert.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A 22-year-old male near Forget and a 38 year-old female near Redvers both received fines of $230 each after failing to stop at a stop sign.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members of the Carlyle RCMP detachment issued a total of 11 speeding tickets throughout the area, with fines ranging from $132 to $192.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP located the driver of a vehicle which had been reported for unsafe passing and erratic driving on Hwy 13 near Carlyle.The driver was issued a warning.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members made patrols, but were unable to locate a possibly impaired driver in the Carlyle area and an erratic driver in the Forget area.

Theft

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý The reported theft of a golf cart at Kenosee Lake is still under investigation.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP received a report of the theft of a passport in Carlyle.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Two separate reports of gasoline theft in Carlyle were resolved by members of the RCMP.
