聽 聽 聽The GFK Class of 2015 would like to extend an invitation to the public to attend their graduation ceremonies at 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 13, at the Carlyle Skating Rink.
聽 聽 聽Congratulations to all of the athletes who represented our school at the Provincial Track and Field Meet in Yorkton. Coach Shelley Sargent had a busy weekend with athletes in numerous different events. All of the athletes did well at the meet and some even brought home some hardware. Taylor Sargent and Jorja Bendtsen both brought home Provincial Silver Medals for their performance in the Midget Girls鈥� 4 X 100 M Relay. Taylor also finished 4th in the 100M and Jorja finished 7th in the hurdles. Karli Colpitts finished 4th in Midget Girls鈥� Discus and 6th in Shot Put. Sam Matthewson finished 20th in Midget Boys鈥� Discus, Halen Duhaime finished 12th in the Midget Boys鈥� Discus and 19th in the Shot Put, and Kyle Sargent finished 7th in the Senior Boys鈥� 400M, 8th in the 4 X 400M Relay, and 12th in the 200M. Way to go GFK athletes.
聽 聽 聽GFK Awards Day will be held at 1:00 PM in the GFK gym on Tuesday, June 16.
聽 聽 聽There is an end of the year Community Appreciation BBQ during the lunch hour on Thursday, June 18, at the school. All members of the community are invited to attend. This is the SLT`s way of thanking our community members for their support throughout the year.
聽 聽 There is a Father`s Day Pancake Breakfast on Monday, June 22, at 8:00 AM. All fathers and their families are invited to attend.
聽 聽 聽All library books must be returned by June 19.
聽 聽 聽Grade 10-12 final exam week is from Tuesday, June 23 to Friday, June 26. The 26th is the last day of classes for students.
聽 聽 聽Parents, don鈥檛 forget about the Home Logic Parent Portal. You can view your children鈥檚 marks and attendance at any time. All you need is a computer. If you don鈥檛 know how, contact the school for details. Remember the deadline for students to hand in late assignments is Wed. June 17.
