The Shurniak Art Gallery held a Community Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 15 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. The afternoon鈥檚 entertainment was supplied by The Fourtunes, an a cappella group from Moose Jaw and Cool Change, a folk-rock duo from Rockglen.

For the first time, Souris Valley Museum invited grandparents to come out and join their grandkids for a Christmas activity. Saturday morning saw families touring the museum, decorating cookies and then enjoying them with milk, tea or coffee.

Weyburn dancer Autumn Alexander鈥檚 large jazz dance team placed second in the Jazz Dance category, after earlier placing fifth in the modern dance category with one of her other teams, at the World Ballet, Jazz and Modern Championships held in Poland.
