The Saskatchewan Youth Choir and their leaders met at the Grace United Church along with the Weyburn Comprehensive School鈥檚 concert choir on Friday afternoon, and held a choral workshop together.

The Weyburn Arts Council (WAC) is requesting information about art and artists that have pieces in the Permanent Art Collection.

New locations are being arranged and set to enable the arts and cultural programs formerly offered at the Signal Hill Arts Centre to go ahead, said Alice Neufeld, arts and cultural director for the City of Weyburn.

The Saskatchewan Youth Choir will bring their mini-tour to Weyburn, with two singers from the Weyburn area (Tori Mahnke and Ross Van de Weyer) as members of the choir this year.

The Orpheum Theatre is bringing Yuk Yuk鈥檚 Stand Up Comedy to Estevan for the third time. The show will feature three new performers on St. Valentine鈥檚 Day, Feb. 14.

The Estevan Police Association鈥檚 (EPA) Magic Variety Show that took place on Jan. 30 was once again a blast. The attendance was on par with last year and it seemed that the community really enjoyed the event.

Can You Build It? Kids, who attended the latest Souris Valley Museum鈥檚 no school day, will say, 鈥淵es!鈥� On Friday young explorers were learning all about inventors and inventions.

A magic show by Chris Funk the Wonderist will be featured for the next presentation of the Weyburn Concert Series on Thursday, Feb. 6 at the Cugnet Centre.

Brandon artist Janet Shaw-Russell participated in a reception at the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum (EAGM) last Friday. Her collection named Sheltered is now on display at Gallery 1.
