REGINA – A pet is now with the Regina Humane Society after being rescued from a burning home in Regina.
Just after 9:30 pm last night, Regina Fire and Protective Services were called out to a house fire in the 900 Block of Broder Street. On arrival there was smoke showing from the house.
According to the Regina Fire social media feed on “X”, firefighters went inside, and quickly had the fire under control. There were no people inside, but firefighters say they rescued a pet and revived it at the scene.
They didn’t say what kind of animal the pet was.
It's apparently doing well in the care of the Regina Humane Society. No other injuries were reported, and the fire is now under investigation.
