REGINA — The Salvation Army has relaunched its advisory board in Regina.
Per their website, the board was dissolved in recent years due to a decline in membership. The board was originally established in 1936, serving the Regina community for decades.
More recently, local leadership identified a need for the board's work to support The Salvation Army’s various ministries in Regina.
“We are very encouraged by the formation of a new advisory board in Regina,” says Lieut.-Colonel Donald Bladen, divisional commander for the Prairies and Northern Territories Division. “We look forward to their partnership as we advance the work of The Salvation Army in Regina.”
The new board members include Pat Fiacco, Wayne Mantyka, Judy Doan, Ivy Scobie, Philip Rossignol and Sheila Wignes-Paton.
The new board held their first inaugural meeting in March 2025.
