The Battlefords Stars were in Saskatoon Friday night in midget AAA action against the Saskatoon Blazers, but came out on the short end of a 3-1 final score. Rylan Nivon opened the scoring just 29 seconds into the game to make it 1-0 Blazers.

Stars 4 Beardy's 1 Coach Martin Smith's boys were in Beardy's Frist Nation Thursday night, as the Battlefords AAA Stars were looking to return to the win column against the Blackhawks.
