HUMBOLDT 鈥� While many Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League teams were wheeling and dealing last week, the Humboldt Broncos weren鈥檛 making too many moves on the ice. The team posted a 2-1 record last week.

Rosters have been announced for the SJHL teams competing at the annual SJHL/MJHL Showcase in Regina. The showcase pits the talent of the SJHL up against the top players from the Manitoba league.

Here is a look at the scores from this weekend鈥檚 action in the Saskatchewan Prairie Hockey League. The Meota Combines were on the road for two games on Friday and Saturday.

The Battlefords Sharks have split a couple of weekend games they hosted over the weekend at Battleford Arena in female AAA hockey action. On Saturday the Sharks came through with a 4-2 win over Notre Dame Hounds.

The Battlefords AAA Stars were winners on the weekend, beating the Regina Pat Canadians in a shootout 2-1 at the Civic Centre Sunday afternoon.

TISDALE 鈥� With hard work, Nic Andrusiak has earned a spot and role on his hometown Tisdale Trojans. Early on this Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League season, the 15-year-old rookie defenceman was not seeing a lot of playing time.
