The Battlefords North Stars followed up their win over Melfort with a dominating 5-1 performance over the Melville Millionaires Saturday night.

For the second year in a row Twin Rivers Curling Club had the honour of hosting a sendoff to their own Team Silvernagle to the national Scotties.

Tempers flared as the Battlefords North Stars did battle against the Melfort Mustangs in a contentious game Friday at the Civic Centre. The final score was 4-2 North Stars as the Mustangs staged a late rally in the third period to make it close.
