Over 100 interested folks attended the Turtleford Quilters Club's first ever Quilt Show and Strawberry Tea April 16 at the Turtleford Seniors Center.

Culture is important throughout the region and on April 12 the Rivers West District for Sport, Culture and Recreation held a gathering in St. Walburg to offer community groups a chance to meet and learn more about several provincial organizations.

April is quickly coming to a close and the weather is warming up nicely. I have noticed the odd air seeder pass by our home and this will mean that everyone should be extra careful now that the seeding season is quickly approaching.
