EAST CENTRAL — Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the East Central region, including Humboldt, Tisdale, Melfort and Nipawin. In an alert issued at 3:36 p.m.

A walk-in vaccination clinic will be opening up in Lanigan tomorrow for those eligible. The Lanigan clinic will be at the town hall on Friday, May 21 from 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Fair weather has allowed producers to make great progress with seeding during the May 11 to 17 period, with 63 per cent of the 2021 crop in the ground, which is above the five-year average (2016-20) for this time of year of 22 per cent.

EAST CENTRAL — The Hoodoo Landfill, serving the RM of Humboldt, Marysburg, Pilger, Middle Lake, Fulda and St. Benedict, is temporarily restricting loads of construction and demolition material due to damage from a pit fire on the site.

HUMBOLDT — Homegrown product Noah Barlage cannot wait for next season with the Humboldt Broncos. The 18-year-old son of Carla and Michael Barlage only played six games for the Broncos last winter.
