Parkland College in Yorkton is seeking housing for an influx of international students expected to arrive in the city next month. "This year is a big year for us," says Lisa Larios, the college's coordinator of business, health, and human services.

With prosperity comes higher general costs and that is something starting to be realized as the City of Yorkton trys to keep pace with its normal maintenance program in terms of city infrastructure.

Kamsack Hospital will be restoring some of its emergency services on Monday, July 18. Emergency room and inpatient services at the hospital were interrupted in April due to a shortage of physicians.
