YORKTON — Nearly 400 graduates were honoured last week as Suncrest College wrapped up its 2025 graduation ceremonies with events in Melfort and Yorkton.
The final ceremony took place May 29 at the Kerry Vickar Centre in Melfort, where students from the Melfort, Tisdale and Nipawin campuses were celebrated by family, friends, staff and community members.
Earlier in the week, graduates from the Yorkton, Melville, Fort Qu’Appelle, Canora, Kamsack and Esterhazy campuses received their credentials on May 27 at the Anne Portnuff Theatre in Yorkton.
“These students have worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and we couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments,” said Suncrest College president and CEO Alison Dubreuil.
“The Class of 2025 represents not only personal success stories, but also the strength and future of our communities," added Dubreuil
This year marked the second round of graduation celebrations since the merger of Cumberland College and Parkland College, which resulted in the Suncrest College name.
The college says the achievements of the Class of 2025 reflect the importance of accessible, high-quality education in the region.
