OUTLOOK — Sometimes, you just have to go hunting for that elusive image that seems to be tucked away in the sky.
On Saturday evening, June 7, my brother and I hopped in my SUV and were headed downtown for something sweet from the D&E. However, my main objective of obtaining something cold to enjoy in order to beat the heat had to wait a few minutes as I noticed something forming in the northwest.
It turned out to be a rather eye-grabbing image which I can only described as "a layered sunset", with the dark, storm-like clouds sitting on top of the lessening sunlight before they would be officially snuffed out for the night just minutes later.

It made for one of those pre-summertime images that you can only get and appreciate in a small town area.
Just a reminder to keep watching the skies this summer, because sometimes you never really know what you're going to get!
