Another week passes and we haven鈥檛 shaken the worldwide pandemic known as COVID-19, which continues to assert its firm grasp on economies across the globe. We are officially in the thick of it.

I got involved with senior athletics back in 2007. At that time the only location in Saskatchewan where rural senior slo-pitch tournaments were taking place was in the Parkland Valley District.

So we are all in self-isolation mode as much as is reasonable. That might sound like it鈥檚 a jail term, but being at home with time on your hands can be a time to relax, once you get past the concerns of COVID-19 and making sure rent is paid.
