It鈥檚 a good thing I don鈥檛 have any money or I might be at risk of buying some very stupid things. Today鈥檚 very stupid thing is something referred to as a 鈥渓ow-speed community electric vehicle.

For all the talk of the need for legislative sitting to scrutinize the budget, Finance Minister Donna Harpauer鈥檚 2020-21 budget hasn鈥檛 exactly been all that thoroughly scrutinized. This is just not great news for voters going to the polls in October.

It鈥檚 Canada Day, and it might just be a day a lot of people forget is going on.

There is one area of board gaming I find myself drawn to time and time again; the world of chess variants. It鈥檚 not that I am a particularly avid chess player, far less so today than in my high school days to be sure.

Like most Canadian kids Jamie Mackenzie played hockey, lots and lots of hockey, advancing through AAA and playing some Junior.

Unlike a seemingly growing portion of the population I remain a firm believer in science.
