The spring session of the Saskatchewan Legislature has come to an end. History is likely to look back on the session as one which will best be remembered as the post-COVID affair, although that is of course not strictly true.

Langenburg鈥檚 Jess Moskaluke has been nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for Country Artist of the Year, the latest in a long line of award nominations for the musician, which included winning a Juno in 2017.

Through my work as a writer and my job as assistant to a Member of Parliament, I鈥檝e had the privilege of getting to know people vastly unlike myself. Some come from places I鈥檝e never visited. Most have different backgrounds and experiences.

Time to think ahead #2 Outlook is a beautiful town with so much potential. We have a great Regional Park with a wonderful golf course. We had a swimming pool in the park but valley instability ended that facility.

I鈥檓 not gonna lie to you, I鈥檓 very disappointed that there is absolutely nothing happening for Canada Day this year. Pick up a map of this regional area and randomly drop your finger on any given community and the result will be the same. Zilch.

It鈥檚 hard not to idealize the place and paint it as more idyllic than it might have been, but that is my perception of a Bible camp in Alberta where my family spent time when I was very young.

A garden 4 miles (6.4 kilometers) from Yorkton on the Charlie Bull鈥檚 farm. They had won the first prize for a family garden in 1955. We have no information about what organization was awarding the prizes.
