The CP Holiday Train is making a return trip to Bredenbury and Yorkton. The train, which was last here in 2017, is going to be arriving on Dec. 4. The first stop in the area will be in Bredenbury, at 10:15 a.m.

City no longer makes proclamations

The City of Yorkton will no longer make proclamations designating special days or weeks for any events or organizations. Council made the decision recently and implemented the new procedure at the October 21 Council meeting, said Mayor Bob Maloney.
