Next step to wind power

SaskPower has now evaluated all submissions to the pre-qualifying phase of its Green Options (GO) Plan, to add 175 megawatts (MW) of wind power to Saskatchewan's electricity system.

Yorkton's new bike lanes are coming a little later than planned due to flooding, but expect them by the end of the summer. The lanes were originally targeted to open on Darlington Street on July 25 and Gladstone Avenue on August 9.

On Sunday, July 25, hundreds of people gathered at Ken Mack's farm near Langenburg, SK for a unique threshing demonstration. Ten threshing machines ranging from 1935 to 1950, with tractors ranging from the 1920s to the 1950s, were fired up.
