An initiative by the Yorkton Rural RCMP to crack down on bush parties is now turning its attention to the property owners who allow the parties to happen.

Yorkton's Western Development Museum held its 55th annual Threshermen's Show and Seniors' Festival at the museum grounds on July 31st, and August 1st.

On Tuesday, July 27 at approximately 7:00 pm, a 47-year-old area farmer was shot and seriously wounded by a neighbour near Rama, SK. Canora RCMP led the investigation.
