In assigning themselves responsibilities with various boards and committees, town council has decided to move towards a 鈥減ortfolio鈥� method which places several similar responsibilities into one portfolio.

Of the 12 members of the Sunrise Health Region鈥檚 Area One Community Health Advisory Committee, five are Kamsack Comprehensive Institute students.

The Parkland Music Festival is scheduled to be hosted in the Preeceville and Sturgis areas from March 26 to April 1, 2017. "It is our turn this year to host the festival," said Anna Russell, president.

An early childhood group at Kamsack has received funding from Affinity Credit Union.

The Norquay home and gift show held December 3 featured 23 tables of crafts hosted by Maggie Lukey at the Norquay communiplex. It included a visit from Santa Claus and decorations by members of the chamber of commerce.

For a family to have a positive start in life, its members have to be prepared for their future and the best way to accomplish this is with a solid foundation of support and access to needed resources, said a release from Sunrise Health Region.
