Full laboratory services at the Kamsack Hospital were to resume Monday morning, after not having had those services for three days last week.

A Kamsack woman celebrated her 100 th birthday last week. Evelyn Falkiner, a resident of Eaglestone Lodge, was 100 on December 15. A reception was held in her honour on Sunday at the Kamsack Legion Hall.

A music award fund has been established in the name of the late Ralph Cuervo, a former high school band instructor at Kamsack and member of the Yorkton Community Bands.

A total of 82 students of Victoria School in grades 1 to 4 submitted posters in the annual nativity scene poster competition sponsored by the Father Ruelle council of the Knights of Columbus.

A Canora youngster, who is the daughter of former Kamsack residents, is responsible for another 鈥減ay it forward鈥� scheme.

Health region initiatives being undertaken in Kamsack were among items to concern town council at its regular meeting on December 12.

At the beginning of the new year, the Town of Kamsack will have a new Internet website up and running, according to Kev Sumner, recreation director. Sumner said that there had been some deficiencies in the current website.
