Members of the River Ridge Fish and Game League who did well hunting, fishing and taking wildlife photographs during the past year were recognized at the association鈥檚 28 th annual awards banquet on March 4.

On March 4 about 60 people took part in the World Day of Prayer Service held at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Rama. The 2017 Service was prepared by the women of The Philippines.

A World Day of Prayer service was held in Ss. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church on March 3.

The first couple months of 2017 have gone by quickly. From January 23 to 27, students were busy studying in preparation for exam week.

Families were encouraged during the month of February to spend quality time together in a program sponsored by the Family Resource Centre as a fun way for families to participate in an activity challenge contest.

The Preeceville School Grade 12 class participated in a cardiopulmonary resuscitation, (CPR) and first aid course sponsored by the Canora Ambulance on March 9 and 10.

Heating system warms up blankets for residents

An evening to bring together hunting and fishing enthusiasts was held in Canora at Rainbow Hall on February 25 when the Canora branch of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation (SWF) held its annual awards banquet.
