Team Â鶹ÊÓƵeast held a pep rally on Sunday to prepare for the Sask Winter Games, coming up on Feb. 19-25 in Regina.

This photo gallery shows action from a U13 girls and a U13 boys soccer game, at the Weyburn Soccer Association's Winter Soccer Showcase, hosted from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon at Weyburn's Credit Union Spark Centre. Over 300 soccer players, coaches and managers on 32 teams came from Swift Current, Moose Jaw and Yorkton to play in the tournament, with Weyburn teams in most age divisions. The teams ranged from U9 up to U17-19.

Weyburn police arrested two women in their 30s on drug-related charges, and one on weapons offences, after executing a search warrant on Friday.

Weekend temperatures will move much closer to 0 for most areas.

The meeting is set for Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 6 p.m. at the Credit Union Spark Centre

The breakfast event is being sponsored by the Weyburn Oilwomen Association.

Teams are coming from Swift Current, Moose Jaw and Yorkton, along with five Weyburn teams.
