I love living in rural areas and I guess my title is misleading, but I've found a hiccough in our province that's making me upset and it's related to living in a rural location.

There seems to be an epidemic these days in minor sports. Not just in Estevan or Saskatchewan, but across Canada. There just aren't enough kids signed up. It has been a familiar story in the Energy City in recent years.

I don't like being a food sleuth, but sometimes ya just gotta do the right thing, especially when the foodie folks try to switch us on to more healthful dining habits.

Somebody should be doing it, but unfortunately, nobody has to do it. A good portion of Estevan's population will continue their struggle to find affordable apartments.
