Now that we鈥檝e all digested the City of Estevan鈥檚 budget proposal and city council has voted to approve it, it鈥檚 clear to the Mercury , this budget consists of good and bad.

I typically plan for my column a few days before the official due date, but every once in awhile, something causes me to delay. Rather than refer to it as procrastination, I like to think of it as something better is on its way.

It lasted only about 58 hours--a pittance of time to be sure--but in those 58 hours it left its mark.
