An idea developed locally that could potentially generate jobs in the beleaguered oil and gas industry has garnered national attention, including from the federal government.

No one, and I mean no one, sought my advice this past week. But I continue to give it, in spite of the overwhelming evidence that it is useless and easily dismissed and forgetten. Oops, I stand corrected. One person did seek my advice.

If Premier Wall can collect $156 million from the federal government to invest in a worthwhile, environmentally triggered cleanup of abandoned and orphaned oil wells, then we say, more power to you, go get it.
