In 1904, Harry Gleiser and his family took over Oxbow鈥檚 Palace Hotel, built on the corner of Railway and Main in 1892. Gleiser enlarged the hotel鈥檚 dining room and built an addition at the back, giving the hotel 34 guest rooms.

Is there such a thing as a perfect joke receipt? Even just a good one? The answer will definitely vary from one person to another, but there are still some vital ingredients that one trying to make others laugh can鈥檛 skip.

As I type this, it鈥檚 been exactly three weeks since 鈥渄rones,鈥� more like cruise missiles, attacked the largest oil processing facility in the world, Saudi Arabia鈥檚 Abqaiq processing facility.

There鈥檚 still something about seeing something on a printed page that lends credibility and legitimacy. Just hearing it mentioned, or seeing it on a screen, doesn鈥檛 have the same level of legitimacy with people.

鈥淲hy is it that I can find out on Facebook who is changing the colour of their hair, what they are serving for supper or if the laundry has been done that day? But ... I cannot find out why the RCMP gathered north of town looking for a missing body.
