Uncertain times might lay ahead for Coronach and the RM of Hart Butte after the Poplar Mine begins to close operations in 2030, but the entire picture might be brighter than at first glance.

This column was inspired by a 60-second video of a hospital for coronavirus patients being built in Wuhan, China in 10 days. If you haven鈥檛 seen it yet, it鈥檚 a huge building, not tents or something temporary.

The power went out in the middle of the night and it woke me up. It was actually the lack of any noise that did it. The sound of being plunged into silence forced me awake.
