The Weyburn Minor Football Association is currently in the process of finalizing construction plans for a new playing facility for their programs.

The Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins won their 10th hockey game of the SJHL season last night at Notre Dame.

The Estevan Apex AA Bruins were handed their first two losses of the season over the weekend. The Bruins played a home-and-home series with the Notre Dame Hounds on Saturday and Sunday, dropping both contests 6-4 and 2-1, respectively.

The Estevan TS&M bantam AA Bruins hosted the Swift Current Raiders at the Civic Auditorium on Saturday afternoon. It was a tightly contested hockey game, with the Raiders barely squeaking out a 3-2 victory thanks to a last minute goal.

The Estevan Elecs most successful season to date came to a close with a 34-0 loss to the No. 1 seeded Vanier Vikings in the Moose Jaw High School Football League semifinals on Saturday.
