There are two adjudicators for the Weyburn Rotary Music Festival, which began with piano entries on Monday morning at the T.C. Douglas Centre.

There are programs for children, teens and adults at the Weyburn Public Library, with most of the programming available virtually or in combination with a take-and-make kit available at the library.

The Estevan Area Literacy Group (EALG) has moved forward with a new person in charge, some additional programs and a new home. Grace Caputo became the new literacy co-ordinator for the Estevan Area Literacy Group in July 2020.

The Mainprize documentary has received a lot of support but still needs more to be completed.

There is just over a week left for local residents to view and vote on their favourite works in the James Weir People’s Choice art exhibition, on now at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery on the lower level of the Weyburn Public Library.

A talented musician from southeast Saskatchewan is a finalist for a prestigious music honour. Country music singer Tenille Arts of Weyburn is up for New Female Artist of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

It will look different than in the past, but this year’s Telemiracle fundraiser is happening this weekend in Saskatoon. Kinsmen Kinettes Telemiracle 45 will begin at 9 p.m. on Feb. 27 and wrap up at 5 p.m. on Feb. 28.
