We’ve just celebrated Canada Day, the 150 th birthday of the country I call home.

July 1 was a day to celebrate in the southeast region and across the country, thanks to Canada’s 150th birthday. Several communities in the southeast region held events to mark the milestone.

The Assiniboia and District Library has a full slate of activities planned for the summer. The TD summer reading program will be running on Thursday afternoons from July 6 to August 24. The time is yet to be confirmed.
