WEYBURN — The final public meeting of this academic year for the Â鶹ÊÓƵ East Cornerstone Public School Division took place June 17 in the conference room of the division’s head office in Weyburn.
The meeting was held following a barbecue luncheon arranged and delivered by central office staff. Future meeting dates also note that on July 3 and 4, there will be a national gathering of trustees to discuss Indigenous education as well as Canadian School Boards Association congressional items. The SECPSD board will convene again on Aug. 20 and 21 for its annual strategic planning meeting followed by another planning session Sept. 3.
The board will return to their regular committee-of-the-whole and public meetings Sept. 17 with the public live-streamed meeting beginning at 1 p.m.
The last day of classes in the division was June 26. Classes are set to resume Sept. 2, the day after Labour Day.
