Esterhazy RCMP seeks owners of recovered stolen tools, cables

Between May and June, police seized multiple items, including a substantial quantity of Milwaukee-brand tools, industrial-grade cable, and a Husqvarna 2500 concrete saw.

ESTERHAZY – The Esterhazy RCMP is trying to locate the rightful owners of a cache of recovered tools and industrial cables believed to have been stolen in recent thefts.

Between May and June, police seized multiple items, including a substantial quantity of Milwaukee-brand tools, industrial-grade cable, and a Husqvarna 2500 concrete saw, during investigations in Esterhazy, Churchbridge, and Langenburg.

Police say it isn’t known whether the thefts are connected but say the investigation is ongoing. In an effort to identify the owners, the RCMP has released photos of some of the recovered cables, described as 3/C 250 KCMIL tech cables, in the hopes their origin can be identified.

They aren’t releasing photos of the tools and say investigators will ask anyone claiming them to provide descriptions to authenticate ownership.

If you think any of these items are yours – or if you have any information about this or any other crime – call Esterhazy RCMP by dialling 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or .
