After 38 years in the grocery business, Bev and Rod Lougheed are going to enjoy some much deserved free time.

Ms. Kurup’s Law 30 class visited the Saskatchewan courts and the Legislative Building last week. The students witnessed trials and learnt about the judicial system in Canada. They also learnt about the roles of people in a court house.

Jillian Bogan of Saskatoon has been selling portraits for 10 years, starting in high school. She has been working in acrylics and oils, while working for the Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.

Jacqui Beckett of Moosomin has been an artist for most of her adult life. A retired teacher, she uses water colours, acrylics and paints on silk fabric, along with teaching classes in silk painting.

For three years, the Currie family has welcomed riders from the National Kids Cancer Ride into their homes and their hearts.

Life is so filled with conundrums (just in case you hadn’t noticed); an example, however, was a big part of our lives this week. For the second time this summer we were delighted to welcome visits from our oldest granddaughters.
