The top two teams in the Big Six Hockey League during the regular season will meet in the final. The Redvers Rockets will face the Carnduff Red Devils.

Arcola Daycare held their 6th Annual Ladies Night Out Fundraiser at Prairie Place in Arcola on Saturday, March 7. The theme for this year鈥檚 event was 鈥淪lumber Party鈥�. Master of Ceremonies was Arcola Daycare Board of Director鈥檚 member, Carlee Annis.

March is Fraud Awareness Month and on March 5 the Carlyle Branch of The Royal Bank of Canada held a seminar on ways to lower the chance of becoming a victim. Giving the presentation was Branch Manager Kelsey Rekken.

On Wednesday, March 4 several area non-profit and community organizations and agencies received a total of $20,740.00 of funding from the Bear Claw Community Development Corporation (BCCDC).

The Carlyle Cougars executive handed out the individual player awards for the 2019/20 Big Six Hockey League season, as well as the awards for the 2018/19 season at their wind-up on Friday, Mar. 6 at the Carlyle Sports Arena.

Grade one and two students at Carlyle Elementary School (CES) participated in the 鈥淛ump Rope for Heart鈥� campaign. The purpose of this fundraiser which was organized by CES grade 1 teacher Ms.

The Novice Cougars (Chris) took to the ice on Mar. 7 as they hosted one half of the A side division playoff bracket. Their first game was at 10:30 a.m. against the Estevan Flames.

The Carlyle and District Lions Club once again hosted a very successful Dinner and Auction on Thursday, Mar. 5, with this one being their 29th annual event.

Student Led Conferences There is no school on Friday, March 13 and Monday, March 16 (Staff professional development). Student Led Conferences are on Wednesday, March 18, and Thursday, March 19, from 5:00 PM 鈥� 8:00 PM both evenings.
