Sunday at noon hour was a sad but also happy occasion filled with both laughter and tears. Not only did it mark the farewell lunch to a great Pastor, but also a goodbye to the man who brought Shockwave Youth Centre to town.

The Kenosee Lake Kids Camp, which is sponsored by the Kenosee Lake Kitchen Party, was held from Saturday, July 28, to Tuesday, July 31. The camp took place at the Boys and Girls Camp within Moose Mountain Provincial Park.

The museum is open all summer long for tourists and locals to come and explore. The children there on August 1 however got to explore more than the confines of the buildings walls.

August long weekend saw many come together to celebrate on the grounds of the Bear Claw Casino. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th of August saw people gather to celebrate First Nations culture.
