Due to continuing warm weather as well as recent incidents in Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµeast Saskatchewan, the Water Security Agency is reissuing an advisory to ensure the public checks ice thickness on water bodies before walking, snowmobiling or driving across them.

One week into the new year, Saskatchewan’s drilling rig fleet is up and running, with 29 rigs in the field on Jan. 8, according to Rig Locator (riglocator.ca). Those 29 rigs also mark a high point in drilling since spring breakup in March of 2020.

Assiniboia business 121 Steakhouse was sold on December 16, 2020, and new owners took over. The steakhouse opened in April of 2009 and its name came from the building’s address, 121 3 rd Avenue East.
