The Assiniboia Farm Credit Canada office held its Drive Away Hunger campaign on the week of October 9. The office staff visited schools in Assiniboia and surrounding communities to collect food bags.

Many Saskatchewan producers wrapped up harvest this past week thanks to some relatively warm and dry weather. Saskatchewan Agriculture reported that 94 per cent of the crop is now in the bin for the week ending October 9.

鈥淪weet Saturday鈥� is looking forward to performing at the Cugnet Centre for the Communithon Concert Jam on Saturday, October 21. The Moose Jaw-based vocal trio is a folk and roots band, which consists of Jaimie Atkins, Mandy Canning and Annie MacLeod.
